Building on Musicianship I, students will enhance aural skills through sight-singing and notation/dictation, with increased focus on developing artistic musicianship on their principal instrument through performance and practice techniques, as well as enhancing improvisation techniques. Students will explore advanced harmonic progressions, voicings, and refine/develop aural skills in Western notation, with some exploration of non-Western notational practices. Prerequisites: MU145B.
